 Mobile Infirmary A Leader In Surgical Procedures
Mobile Infirmary Medical Center is one of the leading hospitals in the state in the number of surgeries performed each year. We offer a wide range of specialties including inpatient surgery, outpatient surgery, a post-anesthesia care unit, and a surgical intensive care unit. Surgical services is composed of 32 operating rooms, three pain management suites, and four procedure rooms.
With three open heart suites, Mobile Infirmary is the leader in heart procedures in the Mobile area. Mobile Infirmary also boasts the largest, most comprehensive surgical intensive care unit in the region which specializes in the needs of intensive care patients.
Outpatient surgery features seven operating rooms, three pain management rooms, and one laser room. Outpatient surgery is also home to the Center for Reproductive Medicine which has an operating suite and an in-vitro fertilization lab.
Critical Care
Mobile Infirmary Medical Center devotes 70 beds to critical care which include five intensive care units:

neurological
pediatric
surgical
To ensure high quality patient care, Mobile Infirmary utilizes the latest technological innovations including a computerized patient data management system with monitoring equipment that automatically collects and records vital information on each patient.
