Visiting Guidelines
General visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Our medical staff recommends visits from your friends and relatives be limited to 20 minutes. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Information concerning the visiting hours of the Intensive Care Units and other specialty areas is available at the nursing station.
Visitor's Dining
The Oak Hill Cafeteria is located on the first floor in the northwest wing of the hospital and is open from 6:00 a.m - 2:00 a.m.
The Gift Shop in the atrium offers many items including plants, flowers, cards, gifts, jewelry, baby items, and toiletries. Hospital room delivery is available upon request by calling (251) 435-2242. Profits from the Gift Shop are used by the auxiliary to fund special projects. Gift Shop hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Covered Valet Parking
Mobile Infirmary Medical Center offers complimentary valet parking at the main entrance. This service is available to all patients, families, and guests Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. We encourage you to take advantage of this free service, especially on the day of discharge.
Infirmary Guesthouse
The Infirmary Guesthouse is a 20-room facility located at the hospital. It accommodates family members of inpatients, outpatients wishing to arrive the evening before their procedure and discharged patients who do not feel ready for the drive home. Single and double rooms are available. For more information or to make reservations, call (251) 435-4801 or check with the registration desk in the atrium.
Chapel
Our chapel, located on the first floor near the front lobby, is open at all times for meditation and worship. A chapel service is conducted each Thursday at 9:30 a.m. by the hospital chaplain. If you are unable to visit the chapel, dial (251) 435-2273 or CARE to hear a short daily devotional. The hospital provides clergy with a list of their members who are hospitalized. If you desire to have the chaplain or a clergy member visit you while in the hospital, please contact the hospital chaplain at (251) 435-4003.
