STAR Trial for Breast Cancer Prevention



Are you at risk for developing breast cancer? Mobile Infirmary Medical Center's MBCCOP (Minorty Based Community Clinical Oncology Program) is participating in STAR, a study comparing the effectiveness of tamoxifen with raloxifene for breast cancer prevention. You may be eligible for a free breast cancer prevention study if you:

• Are at risk for developing breast cancer

• Have gone through menopause or have had a total hysterectomy

• Are at least 35 years old

The STAR trial is one of the largest breast cancer prevention studies ever. Please call (251) 435-3949 Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for more information.
