Infirmary Foundation
 The Infirmary Foundation
generates friends and funds for Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and J.L. Bedsole/Rotary Rehabilitation Hospital. The Foundation uses contributions to help purchase up-to-date medical equipment, fund special projects, support the work of various departments such as the Diabetes Education and Resource Center, cardiology services, and cancer services. Contributions are also used to provide continuing education for healthcare professionals.
The Foundation has distributed over $7.4 million since its inception for various projects, scholarships, and equipment. It also raised a substantial sum for the relocation of the J.L. Bedsole/Rotary Rehabilitation Hospital.
By using funds donated for memorials and honorariums, as well as special gifts, the Infirmary Foundation helps to continue the tradition of quality healthcare services at our institution.
Infirmary Health System's Community Benefit Program has contributed approximately $2.7 million throughout the community since its inception. As a community based, not-for-profit healthcare corporation, Infirmary Health System is an integral part of the communities it serves. Improving the health and well-being of those who live and work in southwest Alabama has been a cornerstone of our mission since its inception.
Working in partnership with area businesses, schools, and other community based organizations has historically allowed the Infirmary to participate in a wide range of activities to fulfill its mission.
